About the Opportunity:
Operations Coordinator FIND has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator. This is a full-time role that will support operational needs at campgrounds, visitor centers, and recreation areas primarily in Western North Carolina and North Georgia. This individual will provide vital support to the Director of Campground Operations and the broader leadership team. Regular travel will be required, particularly through the operating season of April – November.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots maintenance and facilities issues at FIND sites, including coordinating with contractors, FIND leadership, and the forest service to quickly repair and maintain any emerging issues.
Provides relief staffing to campground managers and other staff as needed;
Become familiar with and learn software systems such as rec.gov, point-of-sale systems, and other technologies;
Comfortability with basic cleaning and grounds maintenance;
Ability to represent the organization and FIND brand with excellence.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license. Ability to use a company vehicle to tow a trailer preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to travel frequently, sometimes with little notice.
Education and Experience:
HS diploma required;
Prior experience in a similar role encouraged but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Competence in outdoor settings
Being able to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
